Description

The dive follows the course of the river at a depth of no more than 8 m. Due to the connection with the ocean, freshwater fish and saltwater fish live here. The dive continues alongside the jungle and sometimes through algae covered mangrove roots that reach the water.

Huge rocks covered in mosses and green algae decorate the bottom. When calmly emerging at the end of the river, it is possible to observe different species of birds, and with luck the osprey. Along the sides of the cenote, there are small caves that jut into the jungle, frequently used by manatees that inhabit rivers and coastal lagoons.
